Flavor was invited by the Nelson Mandela Foundation to create Ode to the Troublemakers, a powerful visual manifesto celebrating those who challenge injustice and move the world forward. Inspired by Mandela’s legacy, the film bridges past and present through a collage-driven narrative that intertwines archival footage, protest imagery, and Mandela’s own handwriting. Every frame was designed to honor the spirit of activism — from Soweto to São Paulo — transforming his words into a visual rhythm that pays tribute to those who keep making “good trouble” today.
The Ring Magazine returns to the spotlight with a rebrand celebrating its 102-year history. To trace this journey, Flavor Studio explored a collection of 1,230 issues, more than 10,000 fights, and 5,000 knockouts—and, above all, set out to tell this story by combining digital techniques such as illustration, animation, and collage, further expanding the brand’s visual system.
